UPDATED JULY 5, 2008 VERY RARE 1930's Czech infantry EM hat, untouched, as you know they ceased to exist in 1938, and this is one of the only EM hats I have seen. Clean, cracked sweatshield inside with maker into, pigskin chinstrap, all original. Red band. All wool, and RARE! $100 PHOTO Third Reich Artillery EM visor hat, quite clean, a little lopsided, easy to fix. Bright red color, a couple tiny nips, overall quite nice. VET bringback. About a size 58. $325 PHOTO Third Reich Infantry Officer cap, about a size 56, doeskin, with LATE war insignia, all matching, quite soiled inside but solid, well used, faint EREL maker mark, shows use but not abuse. This is a totally original cap, and from a NH veterans lot. $450 PHOTO Third Reich Engineer/Pioneer EM hat, early in the Reich, hat is dated from the mid 30's and has the original owners clothing ID tag sewn into the sweatband, with full engineer unit ID. Nice, named and with only a couple tiny nips, a very clean IDed hat. Unusual. $450 PHOTO PHOTO Third Reich era Reichsbahn RR official hat, very clean, slightly out of shape, super color and condition. The cardboard stiffener has been sewn to itself in the center front, from a break that happened before me. From a veteran's estate in NH. $350 PHOTO SUPER Edwardian small-crown Royal Artillery higher rank officer cap, STIFF shape, bright colors and super quilted lining, Woolich maker mark, small, burnished badge to front, just a great hat. Pre WWI for sure, small crown and very stiff shape. $275 PHOTO PHOTO Nice 30's US Officer campaign hat, bright cords with some celleon trim, they are mint. The whole hat borders on mint, has a pebbled sweatband, which will come loose due to age, some indistinct issue marks under this, might be a WWI hat. Cords are 30's. App. size 7. $100 PHOTO WWI German Imperial Uhlan TSCHAPKA, complete with cockades, chinstrap and etc. The front badge looks like a Guards unit, the liner is BRITTLE, 3 tongues are off but included, but its very fragile inside, the rest of it is CLEAN and SOLID, untouched. $1100 PHOTO PHOTO 1930 era US Artillery EM tan cotton visor hat with celluloid red badge backing, smaller size, but almost unused, a rare use done mainly during the mid 30's and then copied with thick plastic ones in the 60's. This is the earlier of the uses, hat has almost black/brown visor, strap and etc. Nice. CLEAN CLEAN! $65 PHOTO 1930's or early WWII M1917A1 helmet, partial liner. HEAVY sand finish is intact, and the chinstrap and liner band and etc are all there, the leather is removed for some reason. This is a clean one and I believe the leather for these is available. $65 PHOTO PHOTO 1930's light OD wool officer cap, named, with nice gilt badge, leather could use some brown shoe polis, quite solid and clean, nice early one. $65 PHOTO WWII Semi Crusher, dark OD fur felt, about a 7 1/8, nice shape, few small nip-lets to the top, hardly worth noting. Pliable visor, will bend easily and a soft body hat, with no stiffener in the band area or the crown. Named with a WWII US Army officer calling card. $175 PHOTO WWII LARGE SIZE fur felt semi crusher, soft pliable visor, REMOVABLE top, VERY VERY Clean, this has to be a 7 3/8 AT LEAST! $175 PHOTO WWI Australian officer or high rank EM rigid visor hat, shows much wear, British maker label, Brit general svc. buttons, adjustable chinstrap with steel fittings (unusual to not be brass, might be Aussie made) and a nice rising sun badge, no other badge has been on this, comes with some papers to prove this was bought and sent, to me, from Australia. There is some moth damage UNDER the chinstrap on the front, not too visible. $400 PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO Great WWI British artillery officer visor hat/cap, with a few nips, super Daniels maker mark, and great more formal cap seen early in the war, not a soft trench cap. Original officer device, movable wheel on cannon, in dark bronze. Nice cap, from the UK. $350 PHOTO PHOTO WWII US Coast Guard hat, identified to Cobb Island Station. This station was responsible for retrieving bodies from German U Boat sinkings of allied shipping in the Atlantic. There were only a handful of men at this station. $75 PHOTO PHOTO US Coast Guard Warrant Officer visor hat, WWI era, when the USCG was formed. Small bullion device on removable mohair band. Nice. SOme fraying on the side is corrected with mohair backing. USN buttons. Bullion chinstrap. The hat band, IE the cardboard part, is cracked on one side. Name punch stamped into the sweatband, which is leatherette. Rare hat. $150 PHOTO PHOTO WWI US CPO US Navy visor hat, Chief Petty Officer style with open catch device sporting silver USN. Nice shape, sweatband is gone, early mohair design, maybe pre war. $135 PHOTO 1930's - WWII German Wehrmacht Infantry EM visor hat, clean, couple tiny nips, under a size 7, no sweat shield remains, orange cotton liner, leather sweatband, issue marks under sweatband, nice color, odd chinstrap, buttons intact. Infantry piped. $385 PHOTO PHOTO Spanish American War/1895 US EM visor hat, artillery brass, single NY side button, some light nips, a bit grungy, probably a Bannerman item. $150 PHOTO 1930's era Czechoslovakian Army Bandsman visor hat, super rare item from a nation that did not exist as such except from 1919-1938. Standard Czech officer hat, illegible maker mark, army band badge with dark green backing, hat crown and band are darker than visor, not sure why. Silver bullion trim, and twist chincord. Bought in Sweden. $150 PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO WWII British WRAF women's officer hat, Austin Reed maker, SUPER nice and clean, light age, small nip to top, untouched and original. $225 PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO WWI 1914 dated Canadian Artillery dress cap, SUPER look, rigid shape, 1914 dated, with early militia style front badge.
